On March 9, 2026, the Harari Amana Foundation brought the joy and spirit of Eid to the community of Koremi through a special Eid outreach program supporting children and families. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, 700 young children received Eid gift bags filled with candies, cookies, and chocolates, bringing smiles and excitement ahead of the holiday. In addition, 700 older children were given 100 Birr in Eid money, allowing them to celebrate and enjoy the occasion like other children during this blessed time.
To help families prepare for the Eid celebration, the foundation also distributed 500 Birr to 374 families, providing meaningful support to households facing economic hardship. This assistance helped families purchase essential items and prepare meals so they could celebrate Eid with dignity and happiness.
Moments like these remind us of the power of compassion and community. With the continued support of our donors and volunteers, the Harari Amana Foundation remains committed to uplifting vulnerable families and ensuring that the joy of Eid reaches those who need it most.
